Why???? Why did the DA staff force this awful Version 6 upon us. It's the slowest piece of junk downgrade in the universe! GAH! Now it takes forever to check my comments because it only shows a few at a time. I have to open a separate slow friggin page to check each thing- journals, comments, replies, faves, etc... because the message page now only shows a few of each thing.
I don't see any point in renewing my subscription unless DA fixes this mess.
Version 5 worked great! Why did they have to ruin it?

Yesterday a neighbor came to my house and told me she saw a coyote run by her house with my cat in its mouth.
In all the years I've lived here, I had never heard or seen any coyotes in my area before, just a bunch of cats. So I thought it was safe even though two neighbors said there were coyotes around. I should never have let my cat stay outside. I didn't think she'd get eaten. I didn't know what else to do when the new baby was born and the baby monitors did so much static I had to leave the baby's door open to hear him. I had heard that cats can sleep on babies and suffocate them, so the day I came home from the hospital I put the cat outside. I should have thought of another solution. My husband had suggested keeping the cat closed in a bathroom, but I said that was cruel... but oh God how cruel is it the way the cat died being eaten. I should have put her in the bathroom... why did I keep her outside? I feel so guilty, I feel sick, like I'm going to throw up

*sigh* I miss making art.
I haven't had any time at all for drawing. I have all of these ideas for drawings in my head, and I want to eventually draw them when I get the time. I really want to make some more Oblivion fanart. I plan to draw another picture of Modryn Oreyn, a picture of Quill-Weave, and a scene from my Oblivion fanfic "Forbidden Love".

Although I haven't had the time to draw, I have at least had a little bit of time to write a few more chapters of "Forbidden Love", which I'll be posting as soon as I get a chance to type them into my computer. They're only written on paper now. You can see my fanfic here: [link]

Aww... my son is snoring right now, next to me. He's almost 2 months old now, and looking more adorable every day. I'll post a new photo of him soon.

I've been meaning to update my journal for some time now.
My son Andre was born on February 29th at 1:06 AM. He's healthy and everything is going well. There were no complications with the birth. I was induced on the 28th, and the labor was 11 hours. It was pretty easy, since I got the epidural. I didn't have any pain from the labor or the delivery. Andre weighed a healthy 8 pounds 4 ounces. He has dark brown hair and black eyes. He looks so much like my husband. Here are some photos:

Hi everyone... I'm only on partial bedrest now (meaning light work is ok, no lifting, etc...). So things are looking better. It's only about a month until Andre is due to be born
I had my final ultrasound check-up today, and I got new pics of him!

I'm looking forward to his birth... I can't wait to hold him and see his little face.
